Paper doll museum

We were the only three visitors yesterday afternoon to the Paper Doll Museum in the basement of the 2002 World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo city. The displays were an unexpected delight, beautifully crafted from a kind of papier mâché using traditional Korean paper. Many displays were charming portrayals of local rural life in the recent past, but one appeared to show a stand-off between Koreans and Japanese in the waters around Dokdo
